Minesweepa Lays Down ‘Stop Talking’

Posted March 5, 2019

By Steven Mason

Minesweepa just dropped his new heavy hitting track “Stop Talking,” but after listening to the track there’s no way fans are going to be able to keep it out of their conversations. “Stop Talking” is cluttered with the wonkiest basslines and immersive synths. The track starts out with a soothing, somber opening that sucks listeners in, as the track continues the smooth intro is quickly transitioned into a fat serving of grimy, teeth-grinding bass. I can only imagine the reaction of the crowd when this track is played in a live setting. Everyone would be struck with their bass faces, moshpits would be formed, and headbangers would be going crazy.

“Stop Talking” follows up Minesweepa’s last release “Low Key,” a track that takes a ride on the experimental side of bass music. The last couple of years have proved to be monumental for the Oregon-based newcomer. In 2017 he teamed up with Firepower Records to drop his EP Stank Breath. He has also released an EP with Buygore and dropped a track with Never Say Die. When it comes to the bass scene, Minesweepa is sweeping up some massive attention.

Minesweepa is bringing the bass to the invasion at this year’s Phoenix Lights at Rawhide on April 5th and 6th. Grab tickets here.
